Okay, I have tagged a total of 41 prompts for 38 players in 31 fandoms that I could, conceivably, write.
I figured out who Yuletide I is going to (I found two people who mentioned the fandom, and decided on the one whose request seemed better filled by the story I was writing) which might actually give me the impetus to finish it.
I already knew who Yuletide II was for, but she's on this list.
One request reminded me very strongly of a story that I started writing two months ago and never posted or finished, so I think I will call it Yuletide III and put it back on the burner.
I am declaring one bunny Yuletide IV because it attacked so viciously, and I probably have 300 words of outline. Oh, fandom clichés, how fun it is to distort you.
I am morally required to write Yuletide V. I don't think it'll be a hardship though.
Yuletide VI = SKETCH ETHICS. SKETCH.
Yuletide VII has me wondering if I can abuse the book canon. Goldfish.
Of these that I am actively working on, I only know 3 of the requesters by name or reputation. I do not think I skewed in that direction moreso than that I like to read people who write well and people who write well write awesome yuletide letters.
One of the joys of reading yuletide letters is the joy of looking at 400-odd LJ layouts. Color combinations that stand out in my mind as utterly atrocious: grey text on beige background; yellow text on pale yellow background. There were others. Those were the worst. I am severely tempted to blow up an animated disco ball gif for entry backgrounds, make the text white, and set clashing neon colors for links and headers. And then title my journal "MUAHAHAHA I HAVE MY REVENGE."
Is that mean of me?
